Nutrisystem Meal Plans Compared – Which Plan is Right For You?

Looking for the Best Nutrisystem Meal Plans?
There are 3 different Nutrisystem meal plans to choose from (this applies to the Womens and the Mens diet programs).
They each differ in terms of price, menu options, online support and a few other features.
Which one is best for you?
Here’s a brief review of each along with how they compare to the other plans
3 Nutrisystem Meal Plans Compared:
Nutrisystem Basic

This is the most affordable Nutrisystem plan. It comes in around $10 a day and gives you 3 meals a day plus a snack/dessert, making it great for buyers on a budget.
Meals are chosen from the ready-to-eat menu selection (no fresh-frozen entrees). The meals you get will be from a selection of customer favorites.
So you don’t get to choose your meals on this plan. (Then again some people like variety and surprises – it keeps things interesting).
You do get the Free Turbo 13 kit with this plan.
Turbo 13 is a special jump-start program that kicks your weight loss results into high gear. Following Nutrisystem and Turbo 13 can help you lose up to 13 pounds in your first month.
You’ll also get the introductory guide, weight loss tracker and guide to eating out with your first order, giving you everything you need to slim down on the diet.
You also get several free online tracking tools and the free Nutrisystem app with suggestions about eating out, shopping lists, etc.

Nutrisystem Core

This is the next plan up from the Basic plan. It comes in around $11 a day and also gives you 3 meals a day plus a snack/dessert.
Just like with the Basic plan, the meals are from the ready-to-eat menu (no fresh-frozen entrees included).
However the key difference is that with this option, you get to choose the meals you want to receive instead of having them chosen for you.
So if you’re looking for a diet you can customize to your liking this is a great option.
Some of the highest rated ready-to-eat meals are the Double Chocolate Muffin, Tuna Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, BBQ Seasoned Chicken, Lasagna with Meat Sauce, Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies and White Cheddar Popcorn.
You also get the Free Turbo 13 kit to get you started losing weight quickly, the quick-start guide, weight loss tracker and guide to eating out.
Along with the online tracking tools, you also get phone-support with this plan – another difference from the Basic option.

Nutrisystem Uniquely Yours

This is the premium option of the Nutrisystem meal plans and runs about $12.00 per day. It gives you access to the full Nutrisystem menu – including the ready-to-eat meals and the fresh-frozen entrees.
The fresh-frozen entrees as a little more gourmet than the ready-to-eat meals. They are frozen until you need to heat and eat them (unlike the ready-to-eat meals which do not require freezing or refrigeration).
Plus the fresh-frozen meals tend to be the highest rated meals with Nutrisystem dieters. They consistently rate higher in terms of taste and food quality.
Some of the top-rated fresh-frozen meals are Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast, Margherita Pizza, Chocolate Brownie Sundae and Spinach and Cheese Pretzel Melt.

While Nutrisystem used to limit the number of fresh-frozen meals you could get (making you also get some of the ready-to-eat meals on your plan), they no longer do this. So you can choose freely from the fresh-frozen entrees if you want.
The menu on this plan is completely customizable – so you can choose the meals you want and avoid getting ones you don’t like.
You also get the Starter kit, Eating out Guide and Weight Loss tracker along with the free Turbo 13 kick-start kit (you won’t be able to choose your meals for this week as it’s a special kick start weight loss menu).
And as with the Core program you also get phone access to dietitians and counsellors should you have questions about the diet or need some support.
Basically if you’re looking for better meal options and a little more pampering as you slim down, this is a great way to do it.

So those are the 3 different Nutrisystem meal plans laid out for you. Which is best?
Well, that depends on you. The Basic program is great for dieters on a budget and if you really aren’t too picky about your meals.
If you just want to lose the weight and get it done and over with, without spending too much money, this is your best option.
If you still want to save money – but you need to be able to choose your own meals, then the Core plan is worth considering. It gives you the freedom to customize and it’s only about $1 a day more than the Basic plan.
If you want the ultimate in taste and food quality – with the option to choose your own meals, then the Uniquely Yours option is the best.
It’s still affordable (use the link below for a quick discount to make it even more affordable!). And you get the highest rated meals to pamper yourself as you slim down.
